Acrylic Full Denture
A full denture is a removable artificial oral appliance restoring a complete/ full arch of missing teeth and placed on completely healed jaw ridges.
A full denture replaces all of the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaws, while a partial denture fills the gaps created by lost or missing teeth. The teeth can be made to match your natural teeth in both colour and shape.
A denture comprises of a plate (the base of the denture) which is usually made of acrylic (plastic) or metal; and the teeth, which are normally made of acrylic.
Acrylic Partial Denture
A partial denture is a removable artificial oral appliance that restores a partial arch, replaces multiple missing teeth, and is placed on a completely healed jaw ridges.
It can be attached to the teeth with clasps (clasp or conventional partial) or it can be attached to the teeth with crowns with precision attachments (hidden clasps). Both types have a metal framework and acrylic teeth and gum areas.
